Radicals, Resistance, And Revenge: The Left's Plot To Remake America By Jeanine Pirro
About the Author
Jeanine Pirro is the host of Justice with Judge Jeanine. Previously, she hosted Judge Jeanine Pirro, a syndicated court show for which she won an Emmy. In 1990, she was elected the first woman to sit on the Westchester County court bench. In 1993, she again made history as the first woman elected district attorney in Westchester. As a prosecutor, Pirro received national recognition for founding one of the nation's first domestic violence units, and has tirelessly crusaded on behalf of the silent victims of violent crime.
#I opted for the Kindle version of Judge Pirro's new book because book storage has become a problem. I considered the audio version because I love to hear her talk. But, trust me, when you read this book you can virtually hear her voice. She is an outstanding author and devastating in her clarity and sincerity. I've read other books about the attacks made by the Obama administration on our freedom, our constitution, and our President; but none of the other writers hold a candle to Judge Jeanine. If you want to know the scathing and frightening truth about Washington, DC., buy this book.
#Since I’m one of the few people on earth who didn’t read the Judge’s 1st book, I was highly impressed by how Readable it is. It’s NOT some political rant that smacks you in the head with the same 2 or 3 points over and over again for 300+ pages, leaving you exhausted and then demands a “contribution”. “Radicals, Resistance, and Revenge” is well written, flawlessly edited and researched impeccably.
Let me tell you a bit about the research. For those of you, like myself, who are not political savants, each claim that Pirro makes thru this book has a note attached to it. That note is highlighted with a blue #sign, based on how many notes are in the in the chapter. If you click on the highlighted #sign, the note will pop up; It’s fantastic!!! If you read the hardcover, the notes are broken out by chapter in the back of the book rather than the footnote system. It’s not as cool as the highlighted system, but much easier to access and use than the minuscule footnotes; especially for those of us with more “mature” eyes...
Reading this book was like listening to a series of chats by the Judge, rather than the free-for-all that often frustrates me on TV. It’s not my purpose to give you some great political insight or analysis, but to evaluate the book, which is good; very good. Pirro’s style is conversational, yet it’s prose. That seems to be the key to why and how her writing flows so effortlessly. It’s also extremely obvious that she knows her subject intimately and cares wholeheartedly. This is not a part time gig for the Judge; it’s her passion. She loves this country and has dedicated this stage of her life to shining a light on the flimflam and fodder that has befallen much of politics.
“Radicals, Resistance and Revenge” is a book that contains facts; lots of them. It’s not just vain platitudes and meanderings. The facts are supported with solid, verifiable research. Both sides or perhaps all 3 sides of this political agenda are presented. Sure, the conservative voice is singing the lead line but this is most definitely NOT a solo; this is a FAIR discourse that represents facts as events occurred and where recorded by the media. They will be eating their own words with this collection. This book will help clear the noise
#Just when I thought Judge Jeanine had nailed the left pretty well, I pick up her newest book and find myself rejuvenated by the manner in which she truthfully and directly calls out the hypocrisy and hate that lives in the left today. If it weren't for writers like Judge Jeanine, we would never be close to the truth on what and how the left is going after our lives. Her experience has allowed her to see into the actions of the left and she spells it out so we understand what we need to be fearful of and pay attention to. What a "spot on" writer she is. She crushes the fake news we get in daily doses by coming after the left in a truthful and insightful manner, unafraid of being politically correct, and, more concerned with being honest and informative to her readers. Finally, her years of experience in the legal world and in the courtroom are evident in that she stands a foot taller than the those we hear from too often today. As you read this book, you realize the value of her contribution, her honesty and her candidness. She leaves you with an insight into the left you cannot ignore.
